New feature – nodes and action plan tasks

Set dates and people on action plan cards

We are pleased to announce some handy new features in the MEERQAT application.

In the Basemap Builder, there is now a separate node type for “Outputs”, allowing users to distinguish between “Outputs” and “Outcomes” in their maps.

We have also adjusted the “Node title” field to accommodate an increased number of characters. This will allow users to include more text on each node in the map view.

In the Action Planning tool, users are now able to assign due dates to tasks, as well as assigning tasks to individuals. We have implemented a system of flags to warn users when tasks are nearing their due date or are overdue and the completion status of tasks is now easier to track. These improvements will assist users to monitor the implementation of their action plan.
